Refund policy

Overview

At Kacper Gajewski design, we take pride in our 3D printed products. We use the highest quality FDM 3D printers and thoroughly inspect and post-process every item. However, due to the handmade nature of our products and the 3D printing process itself, certain characteristics are inherent to our items.

Quality Standards

Minor surface imperfections that do not impact the functionality of the product are considered normal characteristics of 3D printed items and will not be accepted as valid reasons for returns. These may include:

  • Visible lines
  • Minor variations in color or finish
  • Small holes, blobs or strings of material

Product Care

Many of our products have specific care requirements regarding exposure to environmental conditions such as temperature and UV light. Please refer to the individual product descriptions or included care instructions for detailed information. Damage resulting from improper care or storage may affect your warranty or return eligibility.

Return Rights

In accordance with EU consumer protection laws (Directive 2011/83/EU), you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the last item in your order without giving any reason. This withdrawal right is subject to the following conditions:

  1. Customized Products Exception: In accordance with EU law (Directive 2011/83/EU), customized or personalized products are not eligible for the 14-day withdrawal right. For these products, only actual defects (not normal 3D printing characteristics) will be accepted as valid reasons for return.

  2. Return shipping costs will be covered by the customer for returns within the 14-day withdrawal period, unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped, significant manufacturing defect affecting functionality).

  3. Product Condition: Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging. We may make deductions from your refund if the product shows signs of use beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and functioning.

Return Process

  1. Open Your order information page either from order confirmation email You received or from Your account available at account.kergi.design
  2. Click the Return button and select the items You want to return. The system may ask you to select a reason - this is for our internal logistics purposes only and has no bearing on your right to withdraw. Alternatively You can email us at orders@kergi.design. Make sure to include the order number, Your name and email address and the statement of intent to withdraw.
  3. Wait for our approval and return instructions before sending any items back.
  4. Once approved, ship the item to the provided address.
  5. After receiving and inspecting the returned items, we will process your refund.

Refunds

Approved returns will be refunded to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned item. The refund will include:

  • The full purchase price of the eligible returned items
  • Original shipping costs

Legal Warranty

After the 14-day withdrawal period expires, all our products are still covered by the 2-year legal guarantee of conformity in accordance with EU law (Directive 2019/771/EU). This guarantee only covers defects that were present at the time of delivery or that appear within 2 years from delivery.

During this 2-year period, minor surface imperfections inherent to the 3D printing process (as described in our Quality Standards section) aren't considered defects under this warranty. Additionally, the legal warranty does not cover defects or damage caused by improper use, accidents, or failure to follow the provided care instructions.

If you discover a defect that affects the functionality of the product:

  1. Please contact us at orders@kergi.design with photos of the defect as soon as you discover it.
  2. If confirmed as defective, we will either repair, replace, or provide a full refund including shipping costs within 14 days of confirmation.
